About Tune to the Moon
A different way of keeping time
Tune to the Moon began with a simple question:
What if we stopped trying to live as though every day should be the same?
We live in a world that often asks us to keep moving forward — to be productive, to achieve, to grow, to make the most of every moment.
But nature doesn't work that way.
The Moon waxes and wanes. The seasons change. Seeds lie dormant before they begin to grow. The tide comes in and goes out.
We are part of this same natural world, yet it can be easy to forget.
Tune to the Moon is an invitation to remember.
Living with the rhythms of nature
At the heart of Tune to the Moon is the belief that there is another way of experiencing time — one that makes space for both movement and stillness, creation and rest, beginning and ending.
The Moon offers us a beautiful way to notice these rhythms.
Her cycle gives us a gentle reminder that we don't have to be constantly doing or becoming. There are times to dream, times to act, times to celebrate, times to release and times to simply be still.
The seasons offer another rhythm, and our own bodies have their own cycles too.
These rhythms don't need to be followed perfectly or turned into another set of rules. They are simply an invitation to notice.
To look up.
To listen.
To notice what is changing.
To find your own rhythm.
The Lunar Diary
The Lunar Diary was created from this desire to experience time differently.
What began as a personal creative project has grown into a yearly companion for people who want to bring a little more awareness of the Moon, the seasons and their own natural rhythms into everyday life.
Each edition combines lunar and solar calendars, Moon maps, seasonal festivals, mythology, artwork and space to notice your own cycles.
It is not a productivity planner.
There is no perfect way to use it and nothing you need to achieve.
Instead, the diary is an invitation to pause, look up at the night sky and become curious about where you are in the larger cycle of things.
The Goddess and the Moon
Mythology and the Goddess have always been an important part of the Tune to the Moon world.
Across cultures and throughout history, people have looked to the Moon, the seasons and the natural world to make sense of the great mysteries of life.
The stories of the Goddess offer another way of understanding these mysteries — creation, transformation, death and renewal, sexuality, motherhood, nature, beauty and the changing seasons.
These ancient stories continue to inspire my creative work and the way I think about living today.
Each year, a different Goddess takes her place within the Lunar Diary, becoming part of an unfolding story that moves through the great cycles of life.
A return to what we already know
Tune to the Moon isn't about discovering a new system for living.
It is more about remembering something we have always known.
That we are cyclical.
That rest matters.
That darkness has its place.
That beginnings come after endings.
That we don't need to be moving forward all the time.
And that there is wisdom in paying attention to the world around us — and to ourselves.
So look up when you can.
Notice the Moon.
Notice the seasons.
Notice yourself.
And see what happens when you begin to move with the rhythm, rather than against it.

"I was amazed by how much energy returned when I shifted away from the modern linear time model and began to follow natural cycles. Connecting to the lunar cycle feels so natural because the energy of the moon mirrors our own. For example, the heightened energy of the full moon resonates with our own increased vitality, while the reflective energy of the dark/new moon aligns with our need for rest and introspection. Embracing this rhythm has been truly transformative."
